The Waikato laboratory in New Zealand is a national radiocarbon facility undertaking both Standard Radiometric Dating and Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Dating (AMS). We are an independent Department within the School of Science and Engineering at the University of Waikato.

The New Zealand Radiocarbon Database is a searchable on-line computer database containing radiocarbon determinations and associated information for almost 3000 dates obtained from archaeological sites in New Zealand over the past 40 years.
